Cyber Safety at Tax Time 2020

The Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Cyber Security Centre have partnered up on our 3rd Cyber Safety at Tax Time campaign.

Cyber Safety at Tax Time runs from July to September as part of a national joint campaign between the ACSC and ATO.

We’re aware of a significant increase in Australians being targeted with COVID-19 scams, fraud attempts and deceptive email and SMS schemes, so this year we are asking everyone to complete a Cyber Safety Checklist to help improve their cyber security and protect their identity. We encourage you to review these resources and share them with your stakeholders where appropriate, to help protect them and your business this Tax Time.

Resources we encourage you to share;

Further resources to share internally:

Let me know if these resources suit your channels – we have additional resources available and I’d be happy to chat, so please feel free to get in touch.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
