HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said the event was the perfect place to showcase the synergies between the two organisations, and with the perfect industry ambassador in Urszula Kelly.

“Urszula has made an enormous impact as a young influencer, promoting and advocating for the road transport industry, with a determination to explore opportunities for the industry to evolve, whether through new technologies, better training, improving industry image or updated practices.

“It has been exciting to see Urszula diving deep into some major issues, and impressive how well she articulates her thoughtful insights.

“With people like this stepping up to the plate, it should certainly give us all heart that the future is in good hands.”

Mr Hacking explained that it is no coincidence that MOVE People Driven Banking were approached to be a part of the event.

“MOVE People Driven Banking were also sponsors of the CILTA Awards where Urszula was recognised with the Young Professional of the Year Award.

“We clearly share common values,” he added. “The heavy vehicle industry exists to service the road transport industry, by offering the safest and most productive means for them to do their business, and innovative solutions to their challenges.

“MOVE provide a level of personal service that most people thought had disappeared last millennium.

“Through their financial literacy programs, they are helping our members, and indeed all of their customers, to secure their futures.”

Therese Turner, Chief Executive of MOVE, agreed that the conference perfectly aligned with the bank’s goals.

“The theme behind ComVec is all about sharing knowledge and insights; encouraging these amazing innovators to keep pushing boundaries, and to listen and partner with their customers to address their challenges,” she said.
