Technology has facilitated new ways of working during the pandemic, streamlining many manual processes in the warehouse. We must now strategically revamp labour management, to ensure the ever-increasing volume of orders get out to customers efficiently, effectively and on budget.
The pandemic has exacerbated the existing challenge of labour shortages in the supply chain – especially when sickness, lockdowns and panic buying come into the equation. Smarter labour management can counteract these challenges:
