National Bus Industry Summit - Canberra - 28th and 29th June 2022
The 1-1/2 day Summit program does not aim to cover all of the critical issues current and on the horizon. However, there are 3 areas that are of high impact across the entire operational and supply chain of the bus industry. Therefore, the Summit will commence with a half-day on Tuesday 28 June to address the areas of accessible transport, heavy vehicle law and zero emission technology and transition. Day 2 of the summit will see dedicated seminars and workshops in the areas of industrial relations for operators and technical issues (current and emerging) for suppliers. The BIC will also host an industry dinner on the night of day 1.
Who can attend the Summit?
The Summit is open to BIC and APTIA Members and bus and coach operator members of QBIC, BusNSW, TasBus, BusSA, UITP and Bus & Coach Association New Zealand. Representatives from federal and state/territory government agencies are welcomed. The Summit is not intended as a revenue raising event and as such there will be a nominal fee to cover the costs at $540 (incl gst) per person. and
