Turn By Turn – Navigation Application

Overview:

Mastercom & Qld Communications have developed an Android app which provides navigation prompts to bus drivers who are completing planned routes in Qld, Australia. The app is primarily designed to be used by bus operators, companies who organise large fleets of buses and drivers to improve their service delivery and to reduce their driver training requirements and to assist in trip/ route completions and therefore contract compliance.

The application operates on a standard Android operating system, managed via a Mobile Device Management (MDM) and allow operators to add other application layers eg Pre-departure Check and Fleet Maintenance software.
