Please join the members of CILTA Hunter section for an excellent networking dinner and the opportunity to hear our guest speaker Scot MacDonald MLC provide an insider’s view of the amazing changes occurring in the Hunter and especially the implications for the Hunter’s Logistics and Transport industry. Please extend this invitation to your industry colleagues.  Non-members and guests are most welcome.

 

Scot has qualifications in farm management, finance and environmental management. He has commercial and management experience in the cotton industry, citrus industry and publishing industry. Scot owned and operated a rural supplies business for 20 years. He was elected to the NSW Legislative Council in March 2011. In 2015 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and the Hunter and now serves as Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, the Central Coast and the Hunter.

Much of the planning and execution of the very obvious changes occurring in the Hunter have occurred during Scot’s time as an MLC and especially during his time as the parliamentary representative for the Hunter. As his term of service as an MLC will conclude in March 2019 Scot is able to reflect on the journey the Hunter is on to become an even more important regional centre for NSW and Australia.
