Foundation Bronze Member - Australian Rail Track Corporation The Australian Rail Track Corporation manages over 8,000 track kilometres spanning Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The company was formed in 1997 following agreement by Commonwealth and State Governments to create a “one stop” shop for all operators seeking access to the interstate rail network. Huge investment by the Federal Government as part of the 2008 Nation Building Economic Stimulus Package as well as 2010/2011 Budget have seen ARTC embark on a range of rail projects which are modernising and growing rail capacity and will help position rail as a leading choice in the interstate freight market. http://www.artc.com.au/ |
